Netherend Farm
In the 1990’s this farm was selling milk and cream to retail doorstep rounds, shops and hotels. To make use of the surplus cream they purchased a small wooden butter churn and started selling hand packed butter pats. The butter proved very popular in local shops and was “discovered” by a London based dairy distributor whilst on holiday in the Wye Valley. They source their cream daily from a local family dairy based like themselves in Gloucestershire. The milk from which the cream is obtained is from red tractor assured farms from within Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. The butter is available to be bought on their website.
